UTPA President Robert S. Nelsen participates in early voting on campus during the 2010 general election.

The University of Texas-Pan American will house an early voting polling site at the Wellness and Recreational Sports Complex (WRSC) from Oct. 24-Nov. 4 and is urging the UTPA community and Hidalgo County residents to cast ballots there.

The early voting substation at the WRSC will be open on the following dates to all Hidalgo County registered voters:

Oct. 24-28: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Oct. 29: 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
Oct. 30: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Nov. 1-3: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Nov. 4: 7 a.m.- 7 p.m.

The WRSC is located at the southwest corner of Schunior Street and Sugar Road in Edinburg. The University will make parking available to voters and election officials at the site. There will be parking spaces reserved and monitored just for voting purposes in parking lot C, located directly in front of the WRSC, during the above times.
